I recently caught up with Robert Phillips. Robert is co-founder and Managing Partner of Jericho Chambers and is writing a book on ‘Why PR is Dead’. Robert also used to be EMEA CEO of the largest PR firm in the world – Edelman.
Within this context, I questioned Robert why he was now writing a book suggesting that PR is dead? I asked Robert whether, when he hears CEOs of financial services companies and political leaders talk about trust, he believes them? We also discussed where he thinks public relations has gone wrong, how the lack of senior talent is holding the sector back and how he sees the future of the PR agency model.
If you would like to hear some more about Robert’s book – Trust me: PR is Dead, or make a contribution to its funding you can follow this link.
