The PRmoment Leaders programme launched in May 2024. The original cohort contained a number of people from the best independent agencies around.
At the outset, 20 senior people representing 12 agencies joined the programme and 65% of the 2024 intake remain involved going into 2026.
Two of those ‘originals’ are Kate Etteridge, managing director of DawBell, and Stephanie Crisp, director and head of growth tech at Fight or Flight. Below, Kate and Steph share some thoughts on what they get from the programme and how they’re applying that in their roles and within their agencies.
What is PRmoment Leaders giving you?

“It’s been brilliant joining a cohort of my peers. I really value the contact with, and the perspectives of, other agency seniors I’ve got to know. Talking honestly about universal challenges and opportunities across parallel or adjacent businesses is just so useful, especially for someone like me who is constantly looking to learn and grow.
“The masterclasses are great. I love how the sessions vary, sometimes mirroring and validating conversations we’re having within the agency, and other times providing brilliant ‘lightbulb moments' for me to take away. The masterclasses really help support a higher professional ‘literacy’.
How are you using the learnings from the programme?
“The PRmoment Leaders programme continues to provide me with an evolving set of guiding tenets, without being prescriptive. So I’d say a good way to explain how I’m applying it is to put it like this: If I don’t yet know the answer to a particular challenge we’re facing, as we work through the solution, I feel much better equipped to be asking my team the right questions and that genuinely feels like progress!”
What is PRmoment Leaders giving you?

“I love the variety of masterclasses and the mix of problem-solving discussions and case study-led talks the experts provide us with. They keep providing us with plenty of valuable tips and meaningful inspiration.
“The programme has given me a great opportunity to meet and network with other senior leaders from across different agencies. I haven’t done that before and it’s super useful, especially in the current environment with us all facing a huge amount of change. Engaging with peers from across the industry gives me both reassurance and perspective I wouldn’t otherwise get. ”
How are you using learnings from the programme?
“Our agency mode at Fight or Flight is based on agility and so I feel I’m really well placed to take learnings from the programme and look to quickly apply them practically. That’s all the way from small, incremental changes in behavior and attitude through to big picture thinking around e.g. GEO and measurement.”
