Dubai Lynx and Publicis Groupe ME extend partnership as Young Lynx Academy returns to Dubai and Riyadh

Dubai Lynx has officially opened applications for the 2026 Young Lynx Academies, as its partnership with Publicis Groupe Middle East enters its fourth consecutive year.

The programme, which has become a cornerstone for talent development in the MENA communications sector, will feature two editions. The Dubai edition is set to take place during Dubai Lynx Creativity Week (30-31 March), followed by the return of the Riyadh edition on 20-21 April, reaffirming the investment in Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving creative landscape.

The Academies are not just a networking event, but they are also an intensive mentorship programme. Each year, 20 young professionals (aged 30 and under) are selected to participate in workshops led by industry heavyweights and global brand experts.

The highlight is the 24-hour hack competition, where participants must solve a complex brand brief under intense time pressure, a challenge designed to test the strategic and creative boundaries of the region’s future leaders.

"The Young Lynx Academies reflect our commitment to empowering the next generation of creative talent across MENA," said Phil Thomas, Chairman of Dubai Lynx. "Our partnership with Publicis Groupe Middle East has been instrumental in creating a unique opportunity for emerging talent to connect, learn and refine the skills they need for success."

Strengthening the KSA talent pipeline

The return to Riyadh follows a successful inaugural session in 2025, signaling the industry's focus on supporting the Kingdom’s "Vision 2030" goals through professional development.

Bassel Kakish, CEO of Publicis Groupe Middle East & Turkey, emphasised that while technology is accelerating, the "true differentiator" remains human judgment and leadership. "Hosting a MENA edition in Dubai alongside a dedicated KSA edition is part of our investment in future generations of industry leaders," Kakish said.
