Top tweeters by Custard Online Marketing’s Sam Allcock

In this blog post our team at Custard has collated some of the Twitter accounts we make sure to read on a daily basis.

1. Matt Cutts – head of the webspam team at Google. @mattcutts
Matt is a great guy to follow on Twitter as he regularly posts updates about Google, its policies and its stance on all things internet related. He also posts his personal views on topical news and the occasional humorous tweet. He’s what we’d call an “all-rounder”.

2. Richard Branson – businessman, inventor and founder of Virgin. @richardbranson
We love reading whatever Richard posts because he’s so refreshing! Even though he’s probably a multi-billionaire, he writes a lot about employee wellbeing and looking after your staff. He also posts advice and guidance on reaching your potential and doing the best job possible.

3. Julia Rampen – deputy editor of Mirror Money. @JuliaRampenMM
Julia not only posts news and topical stories on a very regular basis, she also gives her opinion on the stories and how they might affect her industry. We also love her occasional personal tweets, which gives great insight into how a journalist’s day is planned out.

4. Buffer – social media engagement tool. @buffer
Not only does Buffer help you to manage your various social media channels, it also posts a great deal of business advice pieces, office tips and productivity ideas. Buffer even provides its followers with some fantastic templates, including its most recent post on reporting on analytics.
