The PRmoment Awards 2020 for London and Manchester have been postponed

Following the government's announcement on 16 March about coronavirus – we have taken the difficult, but unavoidable, decision to postpone both the Manchester and London PRmoment Awards.

Clearly the government advice makes it impossible for us to hold these events currently.

To confirm, the London PRmoment Awards were due to take place on Thursday 26 March and the Manchester Awards this Wednesday 18 March. Both of these events are now postponed.

We’re really sorry about the inconvenience this has caused.

We have reserved two potential alternative dates for The PRmoment Awards London, these are either Monday 29 June or Thursday 3 September.

These dates are obviously dependent on coronavirus, but if you have bought tickets/might buy tickets I suggest that you get them in your diary.

We are still working with our Manchester venue The Hilton to confirm the date for the postponed Manchester PRmoment Awards – but to confirm one way or another there will be a PRmoment Awards Manchester 2020 ceremony and we’ll let you know when this is as soon as we can.

I should say thanks so much to all our sponsors and those who booked tickets for the events for your patience during this time. Needless to say, your tickets will be valid for the alternative event dates.

All our sponsors and companies who have booked tickets to either event are being emailed this morning (17 March).

If you have specific enquiries about the London awards please email alex.rimmer@dontpanicprojects.com or about the Manchester awards Siobhan.Barlow@dontpanicprojects.com.

We really hope everyone stays safe at this difficult time.

At the end of this, we will have two outrageously good parties where we can all talk about less serious, more fun, stuff and cheer ourselves up after what no doubt will be a really tough couple of months.

Until then, look after yourselves and your families.

No doubt it’s going to be a hard time for UK public relations, needless to say if I, or PRmoment, can help, we will – just let us know.
