Did anyone see David Miliband on Andrew Marr on Sunday? When pressed on the coverage in the tabloids that MI6’s Sir John Sawers wife had posted pictures of him wearing Speedo’s, Milliband replied that “the fact that you (the BBC) is leading on that story says more about the BBC than it does about Sir John.”
Decent point. Difficult to argue really. It was a quiet news day and I guess the summer’s silly season is upon us.
That said, I have to say, I’m a swim shorts kind of guy but maybe Sir John was thinking “if you’ve got it ....”
