CIPR International is hosting an evening in London on 21 May 2015 with the Ukraine Crisis Media Center (UCMC) when its board member, Nataliya Popovych, will discuss how Ukraine is tackling global messaging and stakeholder engagement during the crisis.
UCMC was set up in March 2014 to provide the international community with objective information about events in Ukraine and about threats to national security, particularly in the military, political, economic, energy and humanitarian spheres
.
Since its inception it has evolved into a key communications hub both for internal audiences in Ukraine, as well as for opinion formers and the media outside Ukraine.
It now provides media support 24/7 and runs a daily schedule of live press briefings and moderated discussions to provide the world with accurate and up-to-date information about the fast-moving situation in Ukraine
Nataliya Popovych is co-founder and board member of the Ukraine Crisis Media Centre – an independent volunteer organisation of communication professionals. As President of PRP, a Moscow-based communications consultancy, Nataliya is also leading a government communications reform project in Ukraine, which includes developing a unified information policy for the country
