The Qode has announced its expansion into India, with a dedicated team based in Mumbai.
Founded in 2010 by Dipesh Depala and Ayman Fakoussa, the agency has built its regional reputation managing communications, events, partnerships, and talent for clients including Richemont, LVMH, Kering, Estée Lauder, L'Oréal, and Marriott International across the GCC.
The move is the extension of a relationship with India that has developed over several years. The agency has previously led campaigns for international brands entering the Indian market, and supported Indian brands expanding into the Middle East, setting the scene for what has now become its permanent local presence.
Co-founder Fakoussa said the India expansion was a natural extension of the agency's culture-led model: "Our strength lies in connecting markets through culture-led storytelling, strategic partnerships, and talent. With a dedicated team on the ground, we are able to bring our full capabilities closer to the market, while continuing to leverage the scale and perspective of our regional and international network."
Depala said India has become one of the most compelling markets globally, adding: "Our relationship with the market has developed organically over time. This next chapter allows us to build on that foundation with greater proximity, nuance, and intent."
The Qode is a partner agency of The Independents, a global network that works across research, strategy, design, production, and distribution, through which it operates across GCC markets.
