Publicis Groupe has been named as one of TIME's 10 Most Influential Companies in Media and Communications for 2026, an accolade that places the French marketing and communications giant alongside names such as Nielsen, TikTok, and T-Mobile in the magazine's expanded TIME100 Companies: Industry Leaders series.
According to TIME, Publicis pulled in $10 billion in new client billings in 2025, nearly a third of all media spend that shifted between agencies worldwide, helping drive total group revenue to $20.5 billion. Major wins included Coca-Cola in North America, along with Mars, LinkedIn, and PayPal.
Regional strength
Locally, Publicis Groupe Middle East continues its strong showing. According to the 2025 COMvergence Global New Business Barometer, it ranked number one in the GCC for total new business. Led by CEO Bassel Kakish, the Middle East and Turkey operation houses a broad portfolio of agency brands across creative, media, and digital transformation. On the creative side, the network includes Leo Burnett, Publicis Gulf, Saatchi & Saatchi, and MSL. Its media arm includes Spark Foundry, Starcom, Zenith, and Chain Reaction, while Digitas, Publicis Sapient, and Epsilon anchor its data and technology sector.
In February, Publicis Media Middle East partnered with adtech specialist GoWit to scale retail media solutions across MENA and Turkey. Samsung also recently appointed Publicis Groupe Middle East as part of a dual-agency media model across the GCC markets.The group has also invested in thought leadership at a regional level. Earlier this year, it launched The Majlis of Possible, an immersive platform bringing together government and private sector leaders in Abu Dhabi to engage on the factors shaping the region's future.
On the creative and awards front, the network has previously swept Creative Agency of the Year and Media Agency of the Year categories at the MENA Smarties, taking home 59 awards including the only two MENA Best in Show honours.
