PRmoment launches PR news & insights platform in MENA

Ben Smith, PRmoment founder and publishing director

With an engaged community across its content and multiple event formats in both the UK and India, now seems like the natural next step for PRmoment to launch in MENA.

To ensure a localised approach to our content and events, we've appointed a MENA-based contributor who will lead our MENA-specific editorial. The brief is to report, discuss and showcase the amazing public relations work happening across the region, creating engaging community-based content and events to reflect that.

Led by our Dubai-based contributor Thembalethu Zulu, we’ll be covering people moves, account wins alongside the best community content showcasing PR techniques and PR top tips - giving practical insight into the MENA PR scene.

Contact Thembalethu with your PR stories on t.zulu@prmoment.com and do join the PRmoment MENA LinkedIn group.

PRmoment founder Ben Smith commented on the launch: “I’ve watched in awe the amazing work coming out of the MENA PR region for some time, and I’ve been surprised at the pretty limited editorial coverage of the region from the world’s PR press. However, that changes today.

Thembalethu Zulu

“We’ve invested editorially, with on-the-ground coverage by a reporter who lives in the region, and is already part of the media and PR community there.

“I was excited when Themba accepted our offer to lead the editorial launch of PRmoment MENA; she’s an experienced journo who’s well connected in the region. I’m really looking forward to working with her.”

What is PRmoment?

PRmoment is the best place for PR folks to get new ideas, rounded insight about the PR sector and to join our community and engage with peers. Our community content is insight based and provides you with quality ideas, access to interesting people and perhaps even a little PR happiness!

If you spend five to ten minutes on PRmoment a week you can hear from some of PR's most thought-provoking people, read informative PR relevant content, and we might even make you smile!

When asked about what she’s looking forward to the most about her new role, Thembalethu commented: “As a journalist, I’ve spent a lot of my career on the “other side” of PR, so to be able to be more intrinsically involved within this vibrant community is a challenge I’m relishing. As Ben has mentioned, there is a lot of great work happening in the region, much of which is not adequately highlighted, so I am looking forward to being a part of PRmoment MENA as we create a platform that becomes your go-to stop for celebrating and further advancing your PR journey.”
