
Dubai-based strategic communications consultancy Katalyst has appointed Thomas Jacob as Director – Media and Growth, bringing over two decades of communications strategy and media intelligence expertise to the role.
Jacob will lead the commercialisation of Katalyst's intelligence-led offerings and delivery models, partnering with client leads to elevate proposals and executive narratives, whilst embedding end-to-end listening frameworks that incorporate sentiment analysis, share of voice metrics, and impact scoring.
He brings 26 years of experience translating media listening and analysis into strategic positioning, executive visibility, and reputation outcomes. He previously built and led media intelligence functions for WPP agencies in the UAE, including ASDA'A BCW and Burson.
Jacob's portfolio includes supporting high-profile programmes such as COP26, COP27, the World Government Summit, Expo 2020, and Saudi Arabia's FIFA World Cup 2034 bid. He has also advised global brands including Boehringer Ingelheim, AstraZeneca, Merck, Anghami, Kimberly-Clark, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Lucid Motors.
