From reach to credibility: HAVAS Red Middle East launches new creator marketing practice

As the creator economy in the region continues to mature, the conversation is shifting from how many people a creator can reach, to how much they are actually trusted.

Recognising that shift, HAVAS Red Middle East has launched CRed, a new global creator marketing practice designed to help brands build lasting influence.

The initiative arrives at a time where creator numbers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia have grown by roughly 75% between 2023 and 2025, with nano and micro-creators now dominating the ecosystem. Combined with some of the world's highest social media penetration rates, the region has become a testing ground for what modern influence looks like.

"CRed is a natural evolution of how influence is taking shape in our region," said Dana Tahir, CEO at HAVAS Red Middle East. "We are seeing a shift from transactional creator engagement to long-term, credibility-driven partnerships rooted in culture and community."

Rather than chasing visibility, CRed's framework centres on "trust, authenticity, and cultural fluency", guiding brands across the full customer journey, from storytelling and community engagement through to reputation management and performance measurement. In practice, the team is aiming for adaptive creator strategies built on genuine brand-creator alignment, channel-optimised content attuned to emerging platforms, AI-informed brand safety guardrails, and measurement frameworks that tie cultural intelligence to business outcomes.

Tahir added: “Through CRed, we are helping brands navigate this shift with greater clarity, building relationships that are not only impactful in the moment, but sustainable over time. This ultimately allows brands to show up more meaningfully in the conversations that matter most to their audiences.”
