Marevak Consulting has appointed Bianca Ndou to the newly defined position of PR & Content Manager for the Middle East and Africa.
In her new role, Ndou leads the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives designed to improve brand positioning and visibility for the consultancy's MEA clients. She will also oversee thought leadership content, media relations, and content strategy, with a particular focus on "translating complex, sector-specific subject matter into narratives that travel effectively across diverse regional audiences".
Looking after a wide portfolio, she will oversee accounts including AU Group (MEA), EIRS (MEA) and Genetec (Africa).
The journalist’s edge
Ndou joins Marevak Consulting from a journalism background, and says the transition into PR has felt both natural and rewarding. "Journalism taught me how to identify strong angles, ask meaningful questions, and understand what makes a story worth telling," she said. "Moving into PR has allowed me to apply those skills more intentionally, shaping narratives that support strategic goals while maintaining credibility and editorial integrity."
That background has also proven its worth in moments of regional uncertainty. "[Journalism] trained me to move quickly while maintaining accuracy and quality. I approach each situation with contextual sensitivity and a clear understanding of how narratives evolve, especially in fast‑changing environments." Ndou also uses her experience to anticipate media expectations, adding: "It also helps with ensuring messaging remains relevant, timely and firmly rooted in facts when clarity matters most."
On joining th team, Maréva Koulamallah, CEO and founder at Marevak Consulting said “Hiring someone with a hybrid profile like Bianca, coming from the media side with strong content skills while also having a clear understanding of PR tactics is a great addition to our team to help us with the growth of our activities across the Middle East and Africa region.”
