Current Global MENAT has appointed Jacquelyn Moulds as Director, Client Experiences, following a year of significant growth and industry recognition for the agency.
In her new role, Moulds will lead a portfolio of the agency’s flagship clients while contributing to "taking the agency to the next level" as part of its senior leadership team.
Moulds joins the agency with nearly two decades of experience in integrated communications and agency leadership, with a strong track record across the UAE. She most recently held a leadership role at The Romans MENA, where she was part of the founding team that launched and rapidly scaled the agency in the region.
Managing Director at Current Global MENAT, Peter Jacob, said the hire reflects the agency’s ambition to scale while maintaining its distinctive positioning.
“When we launched Current Global in the region, we set out to prove that you could combine the ambition and solidity of a network with the attitude and spirit of an independent,” he said. “As we step into just our fourth year, that proposition is clearly resonating in the market, and we’ve gone from strength to strength."
Moulds said she is joining the agency at a defining stage of its journey, mentioning both its market positioning and internal culture as key draws. “I’m joining Current Global at a great time. They’ve already established themselves as a force in the region, carving out a unique position that allows them to flex to any type of scope and client need.”
She added: “Pete, Sinead [O'Connor] and the rest of the team have built a really strong culture, and there’s a genuine desire to move the industry forward whilst looking after their people, and that’s really important to me.”
A strong regional track record
In her most recent role at The Romans MENA, Moulds played a central role in building the business from the ground up, helping grow it into a multi-award-winning agency within 18 months. As Head of Client Engagement, she led senior client relationships, shaped the agency’s operating model and culture, and drove growth across a roster that included Audi, Porsche, Wynn Resorts, Binance and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Prior to this, she spent nearly five years at House of Comms in Dubai, where she was part of the senior management team and led integrated communications for major brands including ADNOC, ENOC, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Miral and Bayer Middle East.
Over the past 12 months, Current Global MENAT has secured multiple industry accolades, including Agency of the Year titles from PRCA MENA and MEPRA. The agency has also delivered award-winning campaigns for high-profile regional and global brands, including Dubai Airports, OSN, ŌURA, Global Village, Heinz, Uber, New Balance and Dubai Tourism.
Jacob said the addition of Moulds to the team was pivotal for the agency. “Bringing Jacqui on board is the next important move for us. Her expertise in agency management and client leadership is exactly what we need. She has a brilliant understanding of how brands and agencies need to show up today and will help us keep raising the bar, both front and back of house.”
