Every June and December since 2009, social media strategist Vincenzo Cosenza has updated his world map of social networks. Comparing December 2012's findings with those of the past, we can see popularity shift as websites and online users evolve.

As can be expected, Facebook retains the number one spot across the globe as the most active social networking website.
