Poll: Should the PRCA and the CIPR merge?

The fiasco around the CIPR election has again brought the focus upon the role of the UK's two PR professional bodies - The CIPR and the PRCA. The CIPR has revenues of approximately £4.2m according to their 2014 Integrated Report , while the PRCA has revenues of £2.5m, according to their latest Annual Report. On the face of it, in recent years the PRCA has grown its membership and revenues fairly quickly (18% revenue growth in the last financial year according to their most recent figures) while the CIPR, perhaps quite rightly, has had a less aggressive business plan (year on year revenues are broadly flat.)

With this in mind we asked readers whether the two organisations should merge? Or is the competition between the two healthy?
