This week there are two pets in PR, both are hard-working dogs at PR agency Spider, one is called Bruce and the other is Annie.
Clemmie Mason-Pearson, director of Spider, describes their working days: “Eight-year-old Bruce rides the C10 bus from Victoria to London Bridge every morning, whilst Annie, the two-year-old rescue dog from Greece, rides in her human’s car.
“Bruce is head of hugs (her moto is, when you are stressed… hug a pug), and Annie is head of security. Both dogs are trained to fully vet all new clients, meetings and visitors. All visitors pass the test, bar their one exception, the window cleaner!
“Bruce and Annie are present in all brainstorms and director meetings and no proposal is ever complete without a dog creative.
“Having worked at Spider for four years, Bruce definitely feels she has the hierarchy over Annie who has only been here two years, but both give as much as they get.”
