Here are my top five on Twitter:
Journalist – Lucy Kellaway. The FT’s genius management correspondent who makes a living pointing out the absurdity of much of modern leadership, business thinking and most of the other things I do for a living. Every Monday I read her column fearful that something I’ve developed for a client is being ripped to shreds.
Celebrity – Andy Murray. Come on Andy!!
PR professional – Simon Barrow. Simon invented the concept of employer brand management nearly 30 years ago applying his marketing expertise to the way employers recruit, engage and retain people. Even as he approaches 80 he is still worth listening to. Legend.
Organisation – Southwest Airlines. One of the first companies to recognise that getting it right for customers and shareholders is only possible if you start by getting it right for your employees. So far ahead of its competition on pretty much any meaningful measure of success it must be embarrassing for the company at times.
Commuter favourite – Southern Trains. This is a fake Twitter handle for Southern Trains and very funny. It's made many a commute bearable. I suspect Southern is in on the joke and the only reason it cancels so many trains is to create content for this feed.
