1. Top PR:Vikki Chowney @VikkiChowney
This isn’t just a selfish bit of H+K cross promotion, Vikki is definitely on the ones to follow list – if you’re not already. Thought leadership across content and publishing on her own account, whilst bigging up the best British food producers over on @boudiccafoods.
2. Top celebrity: Casey Neistat @CaseyNeistat
Picking out my favourite YouTube Celebrity who not only knows a thing or two about producing quality content on a daily basis for his 1 million YouTube subscribers, but also likes to throw out some strong advice for those looking to create themselves. Marketers and brands can learn a lot from just watching him. He’s also recently launched an interesting new live streaming app called Beme.
3. Top journalist:Maria Popova @Brainpicker
Maria is the journalistic mind behind the amazing Brain Pickings site which is a one-woman labour of love and delivers non-stop stream of fascinating posts spanning art, science, psychology, design, philosophy, history, politics, anthropology, and more.
Honourable mentions:
4. David Hieatt @DavidHieatt
David himself is a man that champions purpose driven brands, he not only offers up regular inspiration via his own account but also the co-founder of @HiutDenim and @DoLectures which both post regular doses of interesting.
5. Neil Perkin @NeilPerkin
The man behind two of my favourite sources of future thinking when it comes to brands and marketing – the curator of Google Firestarters events and co-creator of the @FragglApp which drops a curated daily dose of awesome advertising industry links direct to your inbox.
