The debate rolls on about unpaid internships in PR. Is it morally wrong not to pay an intern? Or are there circumstances where it is more acceptable to not to pay a wage?
We've heard PR institutions and agencies give their two pennies worth, but what do the interns think? Natalie worked as an unpaid intern before landing her current job and here she gives her opinion on the subject.
It would seem that the essence of this contention falls around how long the internships last for and what type of work interns are doing.
If any other interns would like to share their experiences and views on unpaid internships, feel free to tell us about it below.
For obvious reasons, we felt it sensible not to share Natalie's full name.
