BB Partners is looking for a Senior Associate from a media and press background. This person should have at least 2 years of experience working in media or a press orientated role and should be able to bring a disciplined approach to account management and a desire to contribute to the culture of a small team.

Senior Associate (Press)
Start date: 1st March
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
Contract Type: Permanent position
Location: Hybrid set-up between central London office and working from home.
Qualifications & experience:
• 2+ years’ experience in media and a press orientated role.
• Experience liaising with journalises and influencers.
• Experience placing spokespeople on traditional and new media.
• Good judgement and ability to spot news and shape a story.
• Experience in and ability to efficiently and effectively manage multiple teams, communicating confidently with both junior and senior team members, to deliver timely results.
• Fluent in English and proficiency in other languages preferable.
• Experience and passion for working on communications projects for purpose-led organisations or businesses.
• Experience managing a number of accounts or projects, prioritising work within a fast-paced environment.
The role will require:
• Managing projects and partner accounts.
• Being comfortable and confident as the day-to-day contact for partners, and able to manage all aspects of a project efficiently.
• Drafting and proofreading various communications for key audiences including press releases, social media posts, news stories, articles, case studies, product pieces, and other mixed media materials.
• Proactive engagement with stakeholders including media, politicians, policy makers, business leaders and beyond.
• Continuous monitoring and awareness of the political agenda in the UK and beyond to deliver impactful results.
