Account Manager – Food & Drink PR

Are you a proactive, creative and highly organised PR professional ready to make an impact?
Nexus is growing, and we’re looking for an Account Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivers results, builds strong relationships and brings fresh thinking to campaigns in the food and drink space.
What you’ll do:
- Drive media impact
Leverage your network, pitch compelling stories and secure consistent, high-quality coverage across consumer and trade media.
- Create standout content
Write, edit and shape story angles that cut through and deliver results.
- Lead with purpose
Support and mentor junior team members, manage workloads and keep accounts running smoothly.
- Build influential relationships
Confidently engage and influence clients and media to maximise results.
- Think strategically
Contribute ideas, advise on tactics and help shape campaigns that exceed objectives.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging and persuasive content
- Confident communicator who can influence clients, media and internal teams
- A passion for media relations experience, with a track record of securing coverage
- Highly organised and structured, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Creative thinker who can generate ideas and bring campaigns to life
- A proactive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail
- Excellent listening skills and the ability to take on feedback and adapt quickly
- A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting and developing junior team members
- Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic agency environment
- Ideally experience within a Top 150 consumer PR agency or similar fast-paced environment
