Communications Manager - Anthropic

Who you are

  • The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the European AI landscape—knowing the key players in the business, political, and academic worlds who are shaping the conversation about AI safety.
  • We're looking for someone who can flex beyond traditional PR to work with influencers and drive content marketing opportunities with enterprise partners
  • Have 8-10 years of communications experience, ideally including in-house roles in AI or high-growth technology companies
  • Are genuinely excited about AI and care deeply about the safe development of transformative AI systems
  • Have a strong understanding of the European AI landscape—the companies, founders, investors, journalists, influencers, and policymakers shaping the conversation
  • Are experienced working with media in the UK, France and Germany
  • Are skilled at managing senior stakeholders and providing counsel to executives
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work.

Desirable

  • Direct experience in communications for AI companies, high-growth startups, or research labs
  • Native or fluent proficiency in French and/or German
  • Existing relationships with key voices in European AI
  • Additional experience in financial services, healthcare, or life sciences communications
  • Understanding of AI policy dynamics in the EU and UK
