Communications Account Manager - Blue Lozenge

Location: Hybrid (Bromley / UK travel)

Salary: £30,000–£50,000

Hours: Full-time or part-time available

At Blue Lozenge, we help healthcare leaders communicate with clarity and purpose and we’re looking for a Communications Account Manager to help us do even more.

As part of our team you’ll be a trusted partner for clients working across the health and care system, helping to shape and deliver meaningful communication and engagement work that supports better outcomes for patients and communities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead day-to-day client relationships, delivering responsive, high-quality account management.
  • Shape and implement strategic communication plans that drive behaviour and engagement.
  • Manage project delivery from brief through to evaluation — on time, on budget, with outstanding quality.
  • Present confidently to clients and internal teams, ensuring clarity and shared purpose.
  • Collaborate across teams and with partners to create content and campaigns with impact.
  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts and contribute to pitches and proposals.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in communication, PR, engagement, or related fields — ideally within health, social care or public sector contexts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build trust with clients.
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management capabilities.
  • Clear, compelling writing and content skills across channels.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a team-player approach.
