Brand Communications Manager - Flawsome! Drinks

Who We Are:

Flawsome! is a sustainable drinks brand on a mission to make wonky and surplus fruit matter. All drinks are cold-pressed for real flavour, have no added sugar, sweeteners and save wonky fruit from going to waste. A feel-good swap, everyday.Founded in Wales by Karina and Maciek with just £800 (and twins on the way!), they’ve grown from kitchen experiments to a £5 million brand, saving over 76 million pieces of fruit along the way. Today, Flawsome! ranges are stocked in leading cafés, retailers and homes across the UK, celebrated for our bold flavours, sustainability-first ethos and playful brand spirit. As a proud B Corp, we’re proving that doing good can taste great and we’re just getting started.

Job Title: Brand & Communications Manager

Location: London based - Remote

Competitive salary + bonuses + perks

The Role in a Nutshell: You are the guardian of the Flawsome! brand and the strategic bridge between our sales goals, media presence, and digital output. While our Social Media Manager focuses on creating the story, you are responsible for arranging the stage. You will manage our PR, nurture high-level partnerships, and ensure that every new listing is met with a powerful, coordinated marketing activation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. PR & Media Relations

Trade & Grocery Press: Act as the main point of contact for journalists (e.g., The Grocer, Convenience Store). Write and pitch press releases for new launches and brand milestones.

Thought Leadership: Identify opportunities for feature stories and interviews to keep Flawsome! top-of-mind in the industry.

Reputation Management: Ensure all external communications align with our 2026 strategy and brand voice.

2. Partnership & Listing Activation

Sales Support: Work closely with the Sales team to “activate” new listings immediately. When we land a new account (e.g., a café group or retail chain), you manage the communication and marketing “welcome” package. Relationship Management: Reach out to and negotiate with partners (festivals, charities, venues) to arrange collaborations and on-site branding.

Setting the Stage: Coordinate the logistics for partner visits (e.g., Opera House, Boston Tea Party), handing over the “ready-to-shoot” opportunity to the Social Media Manager.

3. Strategic Brand Oversight

Brand Consistency: Review all marketing outputs (digital and physical) to ensure they are on-brand and strategically sound.

Consumer Insights: Track market trends, customer personas, and evolving needs to inform our future campaigns.

Internal Comms: Keep the team aligned on marketing schedules, ensuring Sales knows what Marketing is doing, and vice versa.

4. Team Leadership & Support

Direct Management: Manage and mentor the Social Media Manager, ensuring their content calendar supports the wider brand and PR goals.

Customer Communication: Handle high-level customer inquiries and email correspondence regarding brand collaborations and marketing requests.

Who You Are:

A Strategic Connector: You enjoy the “hustle” of picking up the phone to a journalist or a new stockist to arrange a collaboration.

PR Experienced: You have a proven track record of getting stories picked up by media outlets.

Organised & Proactive: You don’t wait for a plan; you build the plan and then coordinate the people needed to execute it.

A “People Person”: You can move seamlessly between a professional email and a creative brainstorm with the social team.

Our core brand values will need to be inherent in your DNA:

You’re not afraid to be wonky

We’re doers. We chase growth and grab opportunities with both hands. Sometimes a bit

messy, always with intent. We move fast, focus on what matters, and learn as we go.

Progress > perfection, every time. If something does go wonky, we learn from it, find a

solution and implement the changes.

You’re curiously unsatisfied

We’re never done learning, tweaking, or asking “what if?” The norm doesn’t inspire us, but

better, bolder, and different does. We’re comfortable being uncomfortable if it means we

keep pushing things forward.

Your passion is contagious

We can’t fake our excitement and we wouldn’t want to. Our love for what we do (and our

wonky drinks) is contagious. It energises our team, inspires our customers, and brews up

genuine joy wherever it goes.

You Live Sustainably

Everything we do has the planet in mind and so you’re already choosing sustainability over

mass consumption. You root for the brands making a change and you already implement

those changes yourself.

You do it for the team

We grow by lifting each other up. We celebrate wins, share lessons, and laugh (a lot).

Connection fuels us because when we bring our whole, flawed, brilliant selves to the table,

that’s when we really thrive.

You'll benefit from:

A salary of £35,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience)

A fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s most sustainable juice brand.

A clear opportunity to put your mark on our next phase of growth, working with a passionate

team.

A chance to make a difference by raising the profile of wonky and surplus a new industry

standard.

22 days holiday (plus bank holidays), plus an additional day off for your birthday

A competitive salary

Participation in the company share options scheme

Plenty of juice to drink at home

Why Flawsome!?

We’re a leading sustainable juice brand with a big juicy mission: to save wonky and surplus

fruit and turn it into delicious drinks. We’ve saved over 76 million fruits so far and that’s just

the beginning. Join us and you’ll be part of something meaningful, fast-paced, and full of flavour.
