Wynn Al Marjan Island's agency roster is taking shape ahead of its 2027 opening, following the recent news of JRN Consultancy being appointed as the PR agency of record for the GCC. Now, PHD MENA, part of Omnicom Media Group, has been named as the media agency of record for the development.
The remit covers global media strategy and planning for Wynn's first Middle East property, which is scheduled to open in Ras Al Khaimah in 2027. According to the announcement, PHD MENA's scope spans strategy, communications planning, and data and digital activation, alongside support for building out the brand's in-house marketing capabilities ahead of launch. The agency will also work with TRKKN, Omnicom's digital analytics and cloud consultancy, on the resort's marketing technology infrastructure.
Christian Fedorczuk, CEO at PHD MENA, said the agency was drawn to projects that become part of the region's cultural fabric.“As Ras Al Khaimah continues to grow its tourism ambitions, this development represents a significant moment for the emirate. Wynn Al Marjan Island already has a strong creative vision, and our role is to help bring that to life across the wider media ecosystem through storytelling, speed, close collaboration and trusted partnership.”
The appointment adds to a growing list of agencies working on the Wynn Al Marjan Island account. JRN Consultancy, an all-women-led firm, was named PR agency of record for the property across the GCC in June, tasked with strategic communications and media relations ahead of opening.
Wynn Al Marjan Island is set to be the first integrated resort in the UAE and the country's only licensed commercial gaming venue. The 60-hectare beachfront development will include more than 1,500 rooms, 22 restaurants and bars, a marina, a theatre, a five-star spa, and a gaming floor spanning 225,000 square feet.
