Job Title: Senior Public Relations Specialist

Location: London (3 days per week onsite) + Frequent International Travel

Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term

Start Date: Mid January 2026

Salary: £55,000 + project completion bonus.

About the Role:

We are recruiting a Senior Public Relations Specialist to help lead an international, multi-sector communications programme covering geopolitics, hospitality, digital banking, real estate and energy. This role is ideal for a candidate who combines media instincts, global awareness, and intellectual depth.

You will work closely with the CEO, CMO, and client-based teams across Asia and Europe, supported by a broad ecosystem of content creators, digital specialists, designers, and local media experts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping narratives, securing media coverage, and guiding external communications within complex and politically sensitive environments.

Westminster Digital is a bespoke London-based strategic communications agency specialising in high-impact media, political, and corporate reputation campaigns.

Founded in Westminster, the agency originally supported Members of Parliament on digital strategy and social media, before expanding globally to advise senior executives, CEOs, government leaders, and international businesses on narrative architecture, reputation management, and public positioning.

We operate a hybrid model: grounded in our City of London headquarters, while deploying specialist teams on-site across international client locations, delivering sophisticated programmes that integrate media strategy, digital content, cultural intelligence, and geopolitical awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead media strategy and international press engagement across diverse sectors including hospitality, fintech, energy, and urban development.
  • Secure premium media coverage leveraging your existing network of journalists, editors, and producers.
  • Draft high-quality press releases, briefing notes, statements, talking points, and executive communications.
  • Shape narrative frameworks for international audiences, particularly in Europe and Asia.
  • Collaborate directly with the CEO, CMO, and embedded teams at client locations.
  • Work in synergy with content creators, designers, digital specialists, and local media professionals to deliver cohesive, high-impact storytelling.
  • Navigate geopolitical, regulatory, and cultural sensitivities with analytical discipline.
  • Provide rapid-response communications support when required.
  • Contribute to reputation risk assessment, narrative management, and crisis communications where necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience in public relations, media relations, or strategic communications at senior level.
  • A strong, demonstrable network of journalists and media contacts across international or UK markets.
  • Intellectual curiosity and practical understanding of global geopolitics, emerging markets, and corporate reputation dynamics.
  • Exceptional writing and narrative development skills.
  • Ability to operate confidently in complex and politically sensitive environments.
  • Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and solutions-focused, comfortable with potential rapid context shifts.
  • Experience influencing senior leadership and working with C-suite stakeholders.
  • International exposure or Asia-related experience is advantageous.

Working Environment & Travel:

  • Based in the City of London office, working 3 days per week onsite.
  • Frequent travel to Asia required; all travel, accommodation, and per diems are fully covered.
  • When abroad, you will work from client-provided offices alongside local teams.
  • The role is supported by an ecosystem of: content creators, digital specialists, designers, local media experts, extensive global networks.
