Following a period of strong international growth, Corston Architectural Detail, a premium British interiors and hardware brand, is seeking an experienced and driven Press Officer to join our expanding global communications team.

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and growing Corston’s media presence in the US and internationally, so lots of exciting travel. You'll work closely with the PR & Partnerships Manager, becoming a trusted liaison for editors, stylists, and industry professionals, while bringing our product stories to life across top-tier design and lifestyle media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for media, stylists, and press enquiries.
  • Manage press assets, from product imagery to technical descriptions.
  • Craft compelling stories and campaign narratives that elevate the Corston brand.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with targeted editors and media outlets.
  • Drive regional PR growth through strategic outreach and media planning.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to align messaging on product launches, creative campaigns, and industry events.
  • Support the execution and logistics of industry trade shows and press events across the US and UK/Europe.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in a PR, communications or press office role (in-house or agency).
  • A strong book of editorial contacts within interiors, design, and lifestyle media.
  • Sharp editorial instincts and a keen eye for newsworthy angles.
  • Exceptionally organised with an ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, confident, and naturally personable in media-facing situations.
  • Willingness to travel within the US and Europe (including overnight stays).
  • Full UK driving license and own vehicle (preferred).
  • Competence with Microsoft Office; experience using media databases (e.g. Cision) is a plus.
