The Role
As Account Manager, you'll play a leading role across a portfolio of ethically aligned fashion and lifestyle clients. You’ll run day to day client communications and help develop campaigns from concept to execution.
Whilst Eco Age is in discussion with fashion brands, the initial client base includes innovators that are shaping the industry. This includes Sparxell, a colour platform that offers the worlds first 100% plant-based pigment technology and Textile Genesis, a leading traceability platform custom-built for the fashion and textile eco-system.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day delivery of PR programmes with efficiency and effectiveness, with a focus on sustainable fashion, beauty and environmental initiatives
- Drive forward media relations, both in securing excellent coverage and managing the team to achieve strong results
- Plan and implement multiple media strategies across national, trade and broadcast media, translating complex sustainability topics into compelling narratives
- Deploy excellent writing skills to produce high quality written work with a strong attention to detail
- Proactively contribute creative ideas to develop exciting and engaging sustainability campaigns for existing and prospective clients
- Plan and lead routine client meetings, offering coherent and concise advice, and instil confidence in your oversight and command of the account with the client
- Think and act independently, taking the initiative when appropriate
- Provide concise and high-quality advice on the significance of external developments in sustainability, fashion and beauty and the consequences for the client, making robust recommendations for a response
- Manage the junior team through solid forward-planning and coordination, acting as the key lynchpin between the junior and senior team
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Strong PR agency experience at Account Manager or Senior Account Manager level.
- Proven experience working with fashion brands.
- Excellent client management and project management experience - showing that you can build relationships, manage expectations and complete projects on time.
- Strong media relations skills and network of journalist contacts, particularly in fashion, beauty and / or sustainability sectors
- Passion for sustainability, ethical fashion and beauty is essential
- Understanding and management of the competing pressures of client needs and profitability of the business
- Excellent writing skills across multiple disciplines
