Position: Internal Communications Partner

Reports to: Operations Director

Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week based in our London Head Office with restaurant visits, some field based working and working from home ability.

Salary: From £28k per year

The Role:

The Internal Communications Partner will lead ASK Italian’s internal communication strategy, ensuring teams are informed, engaged, and connected with business priorities. This role is central to building strong engagement, reinforcing culture and values, and connecting teams across ASK Italian.

You’ll develop and deliver clear communications that inform, energise and unite teams around shared goals and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications Strategy & Delivery

• Own our internal communication strategies and campaigns that support our business vision and values.
• Manage our team app, ensuring our teams stay connected, informed and engaged.
• Deliver business updates, event communications and critical operation updates.
• Produce regular business information packs.
• Create “Stuff to Know” packs covering areas such as new menus, business initiatives, seasonal campaigns etc.

Content Creation & Channel Management

• Produce high quality written and visual content for multiple internal channels including newsletters, intranet, presentation videos and digital platforms.
• Ensure all communication channels are current, accessible and delivering consistent messaging.
• Advise managers and leaders on effective communication methods and support them in cascading information across teams.

Team Engagement & Culture

• Champion ASK Italian’s culture and values through all communications and initiatives.
• Create engaging campaigns and messaging to inspire, inform, and connect teams across all levels.
• Promote inclusion, recognition, and open communication to foster motivated, empowered, and informed teams.
• Support the HR team in communicating and driving engagement for our internal survey, helping teams to understand, participate, and see outcomes from feedback.
• Support the planning and implementation of internal events and campaigns that reinforce key communication messages.

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, managers and key stakeholders to understand communication needs and priorities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team on messaging, timing, and channels to maximise impact and engagement.
• Collaborate with People and Operations teams to ensure communications support the business initiatives and people strategies.

Measure & Impact

• Monitor and measure effectiveness of internal communication strategies using KPIs and data analysis.
• Make data-driven recommendations for improvement to enhance the impact of communication initiatives.

• Experience in communication connecting different audiences across multiple channels (email, intranet, apps, newsletters, presentations).
• Creation of clear, engaging messaging that brings business priorities to life for different and diverse audiences.
• Experience in producing content such as newsletters, operational updates, presentations, and multimedia materials.
• Supporting change initiatives, system rollouts or business updates through communication plans.
• Confidence working with a range of stakeholders and a desire to build strong relationships with leaders and teams across the business.
• Confidence in internal communication tools and content creation platforms, including intranet apps, Sharepoint, Microsoft suite, Canva InDesign or similar design tools, and basic analytics to measure engagement.
• A genuine passion for food, creativity, culture and bringing people together through great communication!
