CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER | £42,700 per annum plus 12% bonus scheme

This is a hybrid role, working from the office 2 days per week and 3 days per week homeworking or travelling to one of our 6 villages based in the UK and Ireland. The role will include some overnight stays and occasional out-of-hours working.

As Corporate Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Center Parcs’ corporate narrative. Working closely with the Head of Corporate Communications and PR, senior stakeholders, and our external PR agency, you will lead the development and execution of strategic communications plans that support the company’s reputation, ESG commitments and business objectives. This role requires a proactive communicator with strong writing skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage complex issues with confidence and clarity.

This role will also be required to deputise for the Head of Corporate Communications and PR as appropriate and some out-of-hours working will be required, including providing an on-call Press Office function in the Head of Corporate Communications and PR’s absence.

Considerable previous experience in a communications role will be required, along with strong people and stakeholder management experience. Proven experience of crafting messaging for a range of communications channels along with the ability to translate complex information into a clear and approachable format is also required.

This role will be required to travel to our villages in the UK and Ireland, including some overnight stays.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.

About You

Essential requirements:

  • Considerable experience in a communications role (preferably in a Senior role)
  • Strong people & stakeholder management skills
  • Able to translate complex information into a clear & approachable format for a range of audiences
  • Proven experience of crafting messaging for a range of communications channels
  • Experience in dealing with the external media/press
  • Understanding/experience of the ESG agenda
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-confidence and experience of working with/influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to manage own workload and work unsupervised where appropriate

  • Experience of managing budgets
