How Twitter will influence our Christmas shopping habits

Twitter affects where people shop, what they buy in stores and how they share purchase decisions according to a GlobalWebIndex study. The infographic below shows that 55% of people say they are likely to purchase from brands they follow on Twitter, with 47% of users actually buying a product because of what they’ve seen on Twitter. So brands need to get tweeting, and quick. Especially as 83% of twitter users have made their first Christmas purchase by November.
