Vested Account Executives are responsible for the day-to-day support of account activities, working collaboratively with all their team members to ensure their tasks are being completed on-time and to the Vested standard. Account Executives are typically responsible for many of the core functions that help keep accounts running successfully. Account Executives may have varying day-to-day responsibilities based on their assigned accounts and the client team needs. Each client team has a Roles and Responsibilities document that outlines each team member’s core role, which may shift and evolve over the lifecycle of the client account.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supports on the execution of integrated campaigns, with an emphasis on Earned Media channels and strategy
• Demonstrates an increasingly working knowledge of multiple channels and how to execute programs across channels
• Leverages existing skill sets and proactively identifies how to tap into these skills on behalf of clients
• Works toward becoming an expert on their clients’ business and Vested’s role as a strategic communications partner
• Media monitoring, list building, trend spotting, conducting outreach and monitoring for coverage
• Supporting media relations efforts, including developing drafting pitches and long-form content
• Supporting the team by assisting with research and brainstorm sessions
• Building social media plans for clients
• Maintaining current work-in-progress records and archives of past project information as appropriate
• Developing ideas for integrated work and content across print, digital and social media
• Preparing account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, meeting reports, proposals and other client communications and correspondence
• Participating in and documenting discussions during client meetings and conference calls
• Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Shows ownership over their work - quickly works to correct mistakes and focuses on delivering high-quality output

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field of study
• 1-2 years of communications experience, preferably with clients in a B2B industry (financial client experience a plus)
• Previous experience working at a public relations or integrated communications agency a plus
• Willingness and ability to travel to client related needs, as necessary
• Willingness and ability to join the Vested team at London HQ, as necessary
