The modern communicator’s biggest challenge in a nutshell

The majority of all social networks are now mobile first, according to a recent infographic by Statista.

98% of Instagram users are accessing the network via mobile, with 86% of tweeters also doing the same.

The study noted that just over two thirds of the time Facebook users spend on the network is via mobile. While Pinterest is 92% mobile and Vine 99%.

However the network that doesn’t follow this course is LinkedIn, with 74% still opting for the desktop view. This is perhaps due to the business nature of the media, and users accessing it while at their work desks.

Although the stats are taken from the US, it is still an interesting trend and one that is likely to continue globally.
